We work with various dive schools and dive clubs around Malta, Gozo and abroad, taking these groups to some of the most exotic dive locations that the Mediterranean Sea can offer.

We can also assist divers from abroad with finding their accommodation and flights into Malta, if needed.

BOAT DIVERSION

Boat Diversion is a Lomac 9.57m RIB with Mercruiser 4.2L 300HP Diesel inboard setup for divers’ needs in mind. It is a MMA licensed commercial vessel for 25 passengers. Diversion is commercially insured for 25 passengers. Equipment includes: GPS, Echo Sounder, Emergency Oxygen Unit carried onboard, VHF DSC, and all required safety equipment.

OWEN BUHAGIAR

Owen Buhagiar, director of BARRASCUBA Dive Leaders, has been diving for pleasure for over 10 years. He is a qualified PADI Assistant Instructor (PADI No. 629695), a Rescue Diver and Oxygen First Aid provider. He also has the Boat Master Grade 2 license for commercial purposes and 7 years experience working as a commercial diver and in various dive schools around Malta and Australia. The love of the sea has been passed on to each generation in the Buhagiar family as Owen’s grandfather was a free diver and his father is an avid sea fisherman.
