This 66 meter long submarine was launched in 1942 and worked in the North Sea and the Baltic Sea.  In 1945 the Stubborn sailed to the Suez and Far East where she worked with allied Navies defending themselves against the Japanese Navy. It was during an attack here that the Stubborn was damaged and when she went to Malta it was decided she could not be repaired. The Stubborn was sunk in 1946 and lies at 56 meters under the sea.
